Just returned from our trip to DC. Here are some of my favorite places!
Georgetown – Washington DC’s most historic neighborhood. Lined with cobblestone streets and 18th and 19th century architecture, the waterfront town was first established in 1751 and remains as one of the city’s most treasured neighborhoods blending the old and new – interesting and fun place to explore.
A great place to relax and unwind: The United States Botanic Garden on the grounds of the United States Capitol near Garfield Circle.
Kids love to run around the grounds of the National Memorial. Built to honor George Washington, the United States’ first president, the 555-foot marble obelisk towers over Washington, D.C. Get free tickets early in the morning.
